SGM: In a series of dramatic games the first team lost 2-3 against Stäfa, while the second team had to concede against Zug 1-3, against players with around 200 higher Elo-rating. But not all is lost, as the first team is still fighting for promotion, and the second team still has a chance for second place.

SGM: In einer Reihe spannender Partien verlor die erste Mannschaft mit 2:3 gegen Stäfa, während die zweite Mannschaft gegen Zug mit 1:3 unterlag – gegen Spieler, deren Elo-Zahl um rund 200 höher lag. Doch noch ist nicht alles verloren, denn die erste Mannschaft kämpft weiterhin um den Aufstieg, und die zweite Mannschaft hat noch Chancen auf den zweiten Platz.

SGM: Nach unseren unangefochtenen Siegen – Wädenswil 1 gegen Winterthur 3 (4.5:0.5) und Wädenswil 2 gegen Seebach 3 (3.5:0.5) – ist unsere erste Mannschaft souveräner Tabellenführer ihrer SGM-Gruppe in der 2. Regionalliga. Die zweite Mannschaft belegt den ebenfalls ausgezeichneten zweiten Rang in der 3. Regionalliga.

SGM: Following our undisputed victories—Wädenswil 1 against Winterthur 3 (4.5:0.5) and Wädenswil 2 against Seebach 3 (3.5:0.5)—our first team is the confident leader of its SGM group in the 2nd Regional League. The second team occupies an equally excellent second place in the 3rd Regional League.

Francis Carta (nachdem er bereits unser Blitzmeister 2025 geworden war) hat auch unser erstes Blitzturnier 2026 gewonnen – vor Grigor Gevorgyan und Kurt Blattner. Wir konnten zudem unsere zwei neuen Mitglieder, Martin Rytz und Fitim Maloku, begrüssen. Viel Spass im Klub!

Francis Carta (having already become our 2025 Blitz Champion) has also won our first Blitz tournament of 2026—ahead of Grigor Gevorgyan and Kurt Blattner. We were also able to welcome our two new members, Martin Rytz and Fitim Maloku. Have fun in the club!

Kurt Blattner war im vergangenen Jahr nicht zu stoppen! Nach seinem Sieg im Cup-Finale gegen Michal Kaczmarek sicherte er sich auch den Titel des Clubmeisters – denkbar knapp vor Grigor Gevorgyan. Ebenfalls erwähnenswert ist der hervorragende dritte Platz von Beat Eckert. Für Kurt ist dies bereits die zehnte Clubmeisterschaft seit 2003!

Kurt Blattner was unstoppable last year! After winning the Cup final against Michal Kaczmarek, Kurt also secured the Club Championship title by the narrowest of margins ahead of Grigor Gevorgyan. Also worth noting is the excellent third-place finish by Beat Eckert. This marks Kurt’s 10th Club Championship title since 2003—a truly remarkable achievement!
